In honour of the magical wizard’s birthday (which famously lands on 31st July), join us at a ticketed birthday themed celebration event taking place in central London, for one day only.
The limited tickets are free and will be available on a first come, first served basis on Thursday 17th July 2025 from 11am, so you'll need to be quicker than a Quick Quotes Quill - all guests will require a ticket including children.
Don your finest wizarding finery and look forward to playing magical games, posing for spellbinding photo opportunities and taking home some fabulous goodies, and the best part? It’s completely free to attend!

Celebration is a free to attend, pop-up event taking place in
London for one day only. The celebration has been created to enable
wizards, witches and muggles alike to come together and honour
everyone’s favourite wizard – Harry Potter on his birthday!
Guests will experience enchanting displays, interactive activities, and have the opportunity to win prizes, play games and take home some special mementoes of the day.
When is the Harry Potter Birthday Celebration?
The celebration event will take place in London for one day only on 31st July. Fans of the stories will recognise this date as Harry Potter’s birthday.

How do I get there?
Tottenham Court Road (Central/Northern Lines) and Leicester Square (Northern/Piccadilly Lines) are both a 5-minute walk away.
Is there a cost to visit?
No, Harry Potter’s Birthday celebration is completely free to visit. However, all guests (including children) will need to make sure they have a free, timed ticket to access the event.
What time does the event take place?
Doors to the public open at 10:00 AM and close at 6:00 PM.
Last entries will be admitted around 5:30 PM, depending on space availability.
How do I get a ticket?
Tickets are FREE but they are required for entry. All guests (including children) must have one. Tickets will be available two weeks before the event via DesignMyNight.
What does a ticket grant?
Each ticket grants you entry to the event pop-up during a one-hour time slot, plus all the activities contained within.
Will I receive a paper ticket?
Tickets will be sent electronically once you have secured them on
DesignMyNight. Guests should bring their ticket, preferably on
their phones, for paperless entry. Please note that tickets will be
scanned on arrival.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your allocated time slot.
Even with a ticket, guests should be aware that they may experience a short queue prior to their entry. Only around 40 people will be allowed inside at a time to ensure a fun experience for all.
How long will my visit last?
Guests should expect to enjoy their visit to this free celebration for around 20 minutes. This includes time to check out the displays, play games, get their face painted and participate in the photobooth, where they will get to take home their snaps as a memento.
What if I don't have a ticket? Can I still
come?
We strongly encourage securing a ticket to guarantee entry, but a
limited number of spaces will be available for walk-ins throughout
the day. For safety and to ensure a good experience for all,
only 30 witches and wizards will be allowed to queue at any one
time, and we ask guests to kindly note that walk-in entry is
limited and not guaranteed.
What if tickets disappear before I can grab one?
This is a one-day-only, free celebration and tickets are limited. If you are not able to get your hands on one, keep an eye on the official Harry Potter channels to be in with a chance of winning tickets, as we will be running exclusive giveaways and competitions throughout July to give as many fans as possible the chance to join in with the celebrations.
What if I miss my time slot?
If you miss your ticketed time, we will do our best to accommodate
you if space allows, but entry outside of the time specified on
your free timed ticket cannot be guaranteed.
Please plan to arrive 5 minutes before your slot.
Will I still have to queue if I have a ticket?
To ensure a comfortable and safe experience, only around 40 guests will be inside the venue at once. To maintain this, there may be a short wait before you enter.
Are costumes encouraged?
Absolutely -
prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed guests throughout the
day so guests are warmly encouraged to attend in costume!
Can children attend?
Yes, little
witches and wizards are welcome, however due to the setup and size
of the venue, the event is not recommended for children under 5
years old.
Please note that all guests under 16 must also be accompanied by an adult, and children attending will also need their own ticket.
Are buggies/strollers allowed?
Due to
limited space, strollers and buggies are not permitted.
Are bags allowed?
All guests will be required to have their bags checked by our friendly security team before entering the event. Due to spacing capacity inside, only small bags (A4 or smaller) will be allowed inside the venue.
● No luggage, large backpacks, or bulky shopping bags will be permitted.
● Arriving with oversized bags? One guest in your party may wait outside with them while the rest enjoy the magic, then swap so everyone gets a turn!
Can I take photos?
Absolutely -
photography and videography is encouraged throughout the event and
magical backdrops and items will be on display to make your photos
even more spellbinding.

Is anything for sale during the day?
No Galleons, Sickles, or Knuts needed - all experiences, tastings, and giveaways are completely free. Though there will be product on display, this is for viewing purposes only and items at the celebration are not for sale.
Are vegan, gluten-free, or halal options
available?
Yes, a limited selection of vegan, gluten-free, and halal options
will be available. Options are while stocks last. Please note that
while we aim to accommodate dietary needs, due to the nature of the
event, we cannot guarantee that there will be no
cross-contamination.
Is the venue accessible for guests with
disabilities?
Yes, the venue is fully accessible.
If you have specific needs, please contact us in advance and make yourself known to staff on the day who will be happy to assist you.
Can I bring my owl, cat, or toad?
Only registered assistance animals will be permitted inside the venue.
What should I wear?
Dress in your most magical attire! House scarves, wizarding robes,
party hats – it’s a birthday celebration after all, so please feel
free to get creative. Please also note that extraordinary costumes
may be rewarded with magical prizes throughout the day.

5. Photography & Media Release
• This event will be recorded, photographed, or livestreamed at periods throughout the full day. By attending, you consent to your image and/or likeness being captured and used by the organisers and its partners for marketing, publicity, or archival purposes.

6. Personal Belongings
• Attendees are responsible for their own belongings. The organisers are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
