The most fun we've had in ages! There was a big group of us for my friends birthday - we couldn't have asked for a better time. Super jazz band, amazing venue, everyone looked beautiful and we danced all night long. I just wish it was an hour or two longer - the night whizzed by. Thank you so much! The event was misrepresented in its description. I spent over £260 on what ended up being a piece of chipboard acting as a coffee table and two armchairs - hardly the 'table with great views with seating for eight'. This wasn't even ready for us when we arrived; we had to complain to the organiser to get even that. 'Great view of the stage'? Nope. It was set up haphazardly in the far corner by ugly fire exit doors. At least they were green - the whole building looked more like an unfinished construction site than a 1920s party hall. I felt ashamed that I'd brought my friends to this. Visited Spotlight @ Studio Spaces on 2015-09-19

Hi Danielle, Firstly, we re sorry you feel this way about Saturday, it's always our main intention to please our guests and it's never nice to hear that someone hasn't enjoyed one of our events! We do feel your review and comment is unfair for a few reasons. Our venue for Saturday was always public information and we stated on DMN that it would take place in Studio Spaces, a very well respected and renowned event space, not an 'unfinished construction site'. Secondly, the tables were never meant for 8 people as you suggested, they were sold for 4 guests, which was clearly stated on purchase. Furthermore, the location of the table in the space was in conjunction with the venue's safety regulations and shy of being on the stage itself we could not have found you a better view. Lastly, when you complained to the organisers on the evening they were kind enough to give you and your party and free bottle of champagne to try and ensure you had a lovely evening...some people are obviously hard to please!

The video didn't really do this event justice. At The Laundry, there's a much more underground feel, with a very glam set of clubbers, and a really lively vibe, whipped up by friend staff, champagne cocktails.a great live band that get down into the audience to play vibrant 20s music and an 'exotic' dancer act that keeps the dance floor humming. All in all a really top night- you can't go wrong!

Having gone to The Bootleg Club for the first time in June, at a mere £20 it's fair to say I wasn't expecting much. On arrival I was greeted by the staff who we're extremely helpful throughout the night and even spent 20minutes looking for my purse which they found and returned. The Band we're unbelievable. What a wonderful evening, I would recommend highly to all xx
