Pianist & MD Jason Lyon is delighted to welcome the award winning saxophonist Tom Ridout. Tom was predicted by Jazzwise Magazine in 2012 as an upcoming jazz musician to watch out for. A recent graduate from the prestigious Royal Academy of Music and finalist in the BBC Young Musician Jazz Award 2016, Tom is a prolific composer who fronts his own bands playing his original compositions.
Tom has been the recipient of The Craig Ball Award, the Richard Turner Jazz Fund Award and the Essentially Ellington Outstanding Saxophonist Award.

The Jason Lyon Trio, with Henry Gilbert (bass) and Joel Prime (drums) have been effortlessly accommodating all comers, star soloists and casual jammers alike, for nearly 6 years at Toulouse Lautrec. They are in a sense the venue's house band, and pop up in many other contexts too. We've moved them to a monthly Friday showcase slot so they can continue bringing their friends, who are some of the best in the business. Every month, four talented people get together for a fascinating musical conversation, and you're invited.
