Sing17 will host “The Big Spring Sing-In”, intended to chase away the winter blues and hail the arrival of Spring. All profits will go to the Alzheimer’s Society to support “Singing For The Brain” workshops. These bring dementia patients and carers together in regular singing groups which help them to build new relationships, retain skills and boost confidence.
Sing17 is a 30+ community choir who regularly perform at east London community events. Their repertoire ranges from Bowie to sea shanties to Bonnie Tyler and tonight will include a “sunshine set” from the summer of love. Think flowers, flares and Hair
UkulelE17 is the full-fat version of The Ukes who played at Maud last June. A collection of local players and singers who meet weekly and strum for fun: their style is .... infectious.
Jake Morley is London born and based. Fans will know that Jake is a true original with three albums under his belt. He is equally at home at Ronnie Scott’s, The Hammersmith Apollo and myriad stages in between, but always makes time for community gigs, often in living rooms.
The Croshaw Family have been playing festivals and clubs across London and beyond and recording together for 13 years. Their style is eclectic and original at the same time, pulling on country, folk, bluegrass and acoustic roots.
