NORWAY'S HOTTEST DIXIELAND BAND
Swing'it Dixieband is the hottest and most entertaining dixieband from Norway. They bring the vibes from 1920s New Orleans, mixes it with some swing and contemporary influences with a hint of calypso. The result: A highly entertaining and energetic show guaranteed to set the atmosphere and get everyone in the vibe!
The band has the past year played all around Norway at different festivals, events, bars and jazz clubs, but after some of the members moved to London to finish their masters, they've started to play at speakeasy clubs, cocktail bars and events in and around London. The response is just the same as in Norway (or better!). They bring the 20s back just in time for the 20s to soon begin. This is a band you don't want to miss!
Originated in the south of Norway several years ago, the band has transformed from a couple of cute boys playing music they didn't know how to play to young adults entertaining people all over the UK and Scandinavia. The band has performed at all from speakeasy clubs, cocktail bars and jazz clubs to big events, festivals and as street musicians. After some of the members moved over to London to get their master degrees the band has also started performing all over London. Where to afterwards? New Orleans.
