International Jazz Singer & Songwriter, Simone Craddock, is making a splash on the London Jazz scene. Her sell-out shows have delighted full houses across the nations capital, including Pizza Express Live, The Bulls Head and Live at Zedel. Tonight, Simone Craddock Collective perform the greatest jazz, swing, blues & latin standards from both sides of the Atlantic. From hard swinging bop & scat to the rolling, rhythmic lure & laughter of the blues, tenderly vocalised latin ballads and exciting new jazz arrangements of pop & rock classics - There's something for the most discerning of music lovers in this one! Expect the best of British & American songbooks with hits from the likes of Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, The Beatles, Elvis Costello & Amy Winehouse, all seasoned with Simone's compelling storytelling and original compositions.

Simone Craddock's varied career has taken her across her native Australia, Asia, America and Europe, where she is now residing in London as a vocalist and songwriter. Simone is a jazz crossover artist with an eclectic style ranging from jazz, blues & swing to country and pop - all delivered with her trademark sweet, strong, sultry and supple tone. 

Her originals are an exciting fusion of these contemporary & vintage influences, with an emphasis on lyric and groove. Abroad, she has performed to full houses at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Palais de Festival in Cannes, Kursaal Theatre in Belgium, Lyric Theatre in Hong Kong and most recently, the Yacht Club de Monaco and Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo. Whilst her passion for jazz was originally fired by the classics; Sarah Vaughan, Nancy Wilson, Ray Charles and her namesake Nina Simone, she continues to be inspired by contemporary artists, including Dave Matthews Band, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Melody Gardot and Amy Winehouse. 

Simone's original compositions emerge from these influences and the experiences that have shaped her on her journey thus far. She is currently working on her debut album, due for release in 2018.

Whilst her passion for jazz was originally fired by the classics, Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, Nancy Wilson, and her namesake Nina Simone, she continues to be inspired by contemporary artists, including Kurt Elling, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Melody Gardot and Amy Winehouse.
