September Songs promises a little something for everyone. For one night only, this multi-talented group of artists present an evening of original songs, jazz classics, and show-stopping tunes from the musicals that you won't want to miss!

After the interval it's your chance to take the stage as we shine the spotlight on the talents of our audience - bring along your best song and dazzle and crowd!

Expect witty lyrics, catchy tunes, and unforgettable performances as September Songs spotlights the talents of Cassiopeia Berkeley-Agyepong (Into The Woods, The Phantom of the Opera, Caroline, or Change); Offie award-winning actor Jack Reitman (Thrill Me, Amour, Jewish Hollywood); singer-songwriter Phillippe Cato; and recent graduates Kirsty Hughes (Legacy, Cheltenham Jazz Festival) and Juliette Bull (The House of Worth).


CASSIOPEIA BERKELEY-AGYEPONG


Cassiopeia Berkeley-Agyepong is an actress, singer and theatre-maker from Croydon, passionate about new writing in theatre and opera. Cassi trained as an actor at the Royal Academy of Music, having previously studied Music at the University of York.


Cassiopeia’s portfolio of work encompasses writing, directing, devising, dramaturgy, performing, composing and workshop facilitation. Her debut play Shuck ’n’ Jive co-written with Simone Ibbett-Brown premiered at Soho Theatre in 2019, is published by Oberon Modern Plays, and streamed as part of Soho’s first on-demand film festival in 2022.

KIRSTY HUGHES


Kirsty studied her undergraduate degree in Music at The University of York where she sang for various jazz ensembles and big bands, including performances at Cheltenham Jazz Festival. After graduating she sang with London’s Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir at The 606 Club, The Jazz Café, St Paul’s Cathedral and BBC Maida Vale. She continued her training at The Royal Academy of Music where she studied a Masters in Performance in Musical Theatre. During her studies at The Academy, Kirsty was a prizewinner in both the Toni V Fell Award for delivery of a monologue, and The Sir Richard Eyre Acting Through Song Competition. She was also the recipient of the Ian Fleming Award. Kirsty recently appeared in Maria Friedman & Friends – Legacy at The Menier Chocolate Factory. She also enjoys teaching singing to both children and adults.


PHILLIPPE CATO 


Zimbabwean born singer-songwriter Phillippe Cato combines soul, jazz and indie sounds with thought provoking lyrics to create songs with compelling and intimate stories. Phillippe is also a composer and dramaturg based in South London currently recording his debut EP.

JACK REITMAN 


Jack trained at the Royal Academy of Music (MA in Musical Theatre and DipRAM for exceptional performance) and with the National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT).

JULIETTE BULL


Juliette Bull is a British/Dutch singer and actress. In 2018, she finished her bachelor’s degree in Music Theatre from Fontys School of Performing Arts, in the Netherlands. After completing her BA, Juliette furthered her training and graduated with a Distinction in Master of Arts Musical Theatre, at the Royal Academy of Music. 

Juliette’s specialist skills lie in legit musical theatre performance and repertoire. However, over recent years she has expanded her knowledge now also loves to sing in more contemporary styles.

Juliette was due to make her TV debut in the Netflix Show Sex Education in January 2021, however – due to COVID-19 – this was unfortunately cancelled. However she is eager to move across into screen-based performance as well as progress in musical theatre.

Credits whilst training: Cosette in Les Miserables, Ida Straus in Titanic, Mrs Sparsit in Hard Times, Diana in Next to Normal and Joan Littlewood and Avis Bunnage in Miss Littlewood

Paying tribute to one of France's most flamboyant artists, Toulouse Lautrec is an intimate Brasserie & Wine Bar in Kennington, South London. Brimming with the bohemian charm of the Parisian jazz bars of a bygone era. The venue is rapidly becoming one of London's finest live music venue providing quality live music from Jazz to Soul Funk, from French Chansons to Latin Salsa.

1) Admission tickets are non-refundable within 72 Hours of the event as standard.
2) Live Stream tickets are not eligible for refunds. Your live stream can be viewed at a later time if you are unable to watch it live.
3) If you are unable to attend you are welcome to transfer them to a friend in your name.
4) Please check your tickets are correct for the event you are attending as changes cannot be made
5) On busy nights small groups of 1-2 people may be required to share your table with one other small group.
6) Seating is unreserved and on a 1st come, 1st served basis; please arrive early if you have a preference.
7) Once the performance has begun, we reserve the right to fill any empty seats with people who are on our waiting list or at the door. Late arrivals will still be permitted however you may be asked to stand at the back until seating can be provided at such time.
8) Certain events require a non-talking or quiet audience. You may be asked to leave or move to the outdoor terrace should you wish to talk to avoid disrupting the experience of our other attendees.
9) Video Recording & Photography is encouraged. Please refrain from using flashes or strong lights as they risk harming our performers.
10) Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless the event is strictly for over 18.
11) We operate a Check-21. If you are lucky enough to appear younger than 21 you may be asked for photographic ID.
12) Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the performer or promoter for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled you will be emailed to provide you the option to attend a rescheduled date or request a full refund.
13) Tickets are sold subject to the promoter's or performer's right to alter or vary the programme due to the events or circumstances beyond their control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
