As seen on bafta award winning tv show ‘Life & Rhymes’ Sarah Callaghan & The Free Thinkers bring you an evening of live music and good vibes live from Toulouse Lautrec!

Sarah Callaghan is a new age urban beat poet. Her music has a euphoric feel combining spoken word and lo-fi jazz tones, accompanying the pieces well, it takes you on a journey that you can connect with emotionally and visually. Mixing the poetic styles of ballad, free verse, narrative and rhyme she is a unique force to be reckoned with.

Callaghan released her debut EP ‘Jacobs Ladder’ in 2019, followed by ‘The Alphabet EP’ in 2020; best described as a new age urban beat poet record. Her music is euphoric in places but mostly has a lofi jazz vibe. Accompanying the pieces well, it takes you on a journey that you can connect with emotionally and visually. Mixing the poetic styles of ballad, free verse, narrative and rhyme she is unique on the poetry scene. Her latest album ‘Write Frame of Mind’ is out now on all music platforms.

Relatable, raw honesty with a bit of banter for good measure, Callaghan captivates audiences and leaves them feeling reflective and empowered.

“The instant she steps on stage you know you’re in the presence of someone new and special” ★★★★★ The Mirror

Her relatable yet gutsy serving of spoken word is rooted in personal experiences, often reflecting on everyday life; discussing childhood traumas, heartbreak and self-growth. She began a transformative period writing & performing poetry in 2018 proving to be an antidote to a dark period of her own mental health, using her pain as fuel to create work that inspires and performances that you can’t take your eyes off.

An artist who seems to constantly evolve whilst keeping it authentic. She brings her audiences along the journey like your best mate telling a story, inevitably captivating crowds and empowering listeners along the way.

‘Fiercely impressive’ ★★★★ Scotsman

Along side featuring at spoken word nights all over London, Amsterdam and various music festivals, she released her first book ‘The Ballad’ in 2018 with the follow up ‘From Ashes, We Rise’ a year later.
