Description
Get ready to listen to the 'Song Bird' Mussinghi Brian Edwards himself.
Bringing a lively quartet to the Toulouse Jazz Club, you're in for a mighty fine, Saturday night!
He began playing the saxophone in September 1980, when his mother bought him a horn. Inspired to play, after listening to Roland Alphonso and Tommy McCook of the Skatalites... after buying all the records he could find of them, he needed to hear more and thought JAZZ. He introduced himself to Charlie Parker and Hank Mobley and then there was no looking back for him.
Featuring in top bands over the years, playing with many fine musicians, crossing many musical genre, from The Jazz Warriors, Jazz Jamaica, Aswad, Orphy Robinson, Rico Rodriguez, African Connection, Ernest Ranglin, to Ruff Cut Band, Misty in Roots, Finlay Quayle, Julian Joseph Big Band, and the Wayne Batchelor Quartet.
Often seen playing alongside friend and tonights trumpeter, Mark Kavuma with The Banger Factory. Their latest albums, The Banger Factory and Arashi No Ato (After the Storm) have garnered great critical acclaim.
It's an honour to have such a legend on stage - hurry and book your table now!
