Peter and the Wolf … and other stories

Taking story to new levels – enchanting young and old alike - pianist Olga Jegunova and storyteller Matthew Crampton reimagine the classic Peter and the Wolf and spin other magical tales.

Olga & Matthew

‘The children were enthralled!’ Park Mead School

‘Amazing’ Archibald, aged 10.

‘Original and clever. It sparkled all the way through.’ Alan , aged 52.

Join pianist Olga Jegunova and storyteller Matthew Crampton for some enchanting music and story. Their Peter and the Wolf recreates this classic for new audiences, while old and young enjoy their tour de force performance of stories such as The Flaming Firebird and the Princess Vasilisa.

Matthew and Olga perform as much to adults as children. As one grown-up recently said about them: ‘I’d forgotten how magical it is to listen to a story.’

Classical pianist Olga uses her improvisational skills to partner Matthew’s storytelling. The result is a bold, modern take on this most ancient form of entertainment.

Suitable for ages six upwards.

Duration: 55 minutes
