🌀 Keep On Moving is a brand new weekly live event showcasing some of London's most exciting artists. Taking place at The Hackney Social, a brand new venue for the arts, you can expect to see a hand picked selection of brilliant artists across multiple genres perform with their band in an intimate setting 🌀

Shumba Youth is a household name in the London Reggae scene. Roots and culture are a powerful influence in this young veterans style. Fusing sounds from Roots Reggae and Soul, to Ragamuffin Hiphop and Jungle, he draws on the past in order to lead us somewhere unknown.👀Shumba is showing no signs of slowing down with his recent solo releases ‘Right Way’, ‘Standing Firm’ and ‘Mad & Bad’. These latest singles have received big responses from the likes of Ras Kwame and Sir David Rodigan, not to mention a killer remix from Aries and Nicky Blackmarket. Shumba is currently working on his forthcoming Album for 2022. 🔊

Rebel Clash will also be serving you some of the finest 7” Reggae & dub in his extensive collection 💿

"Amapiano, afro beats and more...." LOL! You mean just ampiano, it was a fun night but it would have been better with a wider range of music. The venue was sick but the bar was not prepared and closed because they ran out of alcohol and mixers - employees were definitely overwhelmed - the Hackney social is definitely better in that regard. No structure getting into the event, friends couldn't come in that had tickets. Only people who have tickets should come in, not 1st come 1st in. Or only when ticketed people are in should others come in. Security at the venue was not organised, 2 queues of people pushing in, felt sorry for the woman at the door but more security guards were needed. I say all of that but the vibe was fun, the outside part was good to take a break from listening to ampiano all night but the djs were good, I just would have preferred an proper mix of music.

Poorly organised, was in the que for an hour just to be repeatedly skipped. Didn’t even get to go inside, unfortunate as me and 8 others were really looking forward to the night for a while.
