🌀 Keep On Moving is back at The Hackney Social for another series of weekly events showcasing a hand picked selection of UK's best upcoming talents across multiple genres 🌀

Introducing Jerome Thomas' self curated show with GRAMN. & Donnie Sunshine

Best known for his distinct, soothing sound, which samples various genres of music from Soul, Jazz, Folk to R&B and Hip Hop, Jerome has cemented himself in his very own lane as one of the most dynamic and authentic voices to have emerged from the UK. So far he has been championed by heavyweight platforms and radio stations such as Afropunk, COLORS, Clash, BBC 1Xtra, BBC Radio 1; and has collaborated with industry pioneers including Blue Lab Beats, BONDAX, Ty Macklin (Erykah Badu, India Arie), Ezra Collective’s Joe Armon-Jones; as well as Soulection’s Jarreau Vandal, and Flatbush Zombies’ Erick the Architect, to mention but a few.

Having been tipped by Jamz Supernova, as a top act to watch, it is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore the talents of this genre-defying musician.

'I curated this show with the purpose to shine further light on people whom I have watched hone their many crafts and execute them in a unique masterful way. I am a genuine fanboy of their art and more people need to hear the excellence.'

The fast-rising London collective, fronted by singer Aux and rounded out with producers and multi-instrumentalists James Lowe and Johnny Tomlinson, jump into 2022 with KillaGRAMN. marking their third EP to date. Featuring the collective’s signature concoction of charismatic lyricism and sonically adventurous soundscapes, GRAMN. continue to push boundaries in an expression of liberating creativity, melding groove laden R&B, trap influenced beats and spliced-in samples in an EP that keeps authentic, London life at the forefront.

Really good show. Intimate venue and good service. The support acts were amazing, and Tim Lyre worked the crowd so well. So glad we went. Definitely worth it and will be looking out for future performances.
