Influenced by everything...

Dochi is taking over the Hackney Social, also joined by Natanya and her strong voice, often likened to artists such as Billie Holiday, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill and Amy Winehouse. She began to produce and release tracks on Soundcloud at the age of 15, combining smooth Neo-Soul and Jazz influenced vocals with experimental production. She seeks to develop her sound more, with an undoubtably exciting musical future to come alongside new music on the way very soon.

Mikispeakz; Gritty, Surreal, Poetic Rapper from the heart of South London & Angel Seka, special Soul Singer, with a deep vibe and a heart of talent, will also be performing on the night πŸ’›

It would have been good to know that Hackney Social is based in a warehouse as it was cold for the guests and seating options weren't very comfortable. That said the event was very inspiring in promoting representation on black women in the art's. I was left feeling uplifted and thankful to be a black woman working to make changes In society
