Elftet has recently been featured in Jazzwise as 'who to watch 2018' so expect a very high energy evening!
Jonny Mansfield’s Elftet is an eleven-piece ensemble and was formed in September 2015. His original compositions are influenced by those of Vince Mendoza, Marius Neset and Stravinsky, as well as songwriters such as Norah Jones and James Taylor.
The larger ensemble offers a wide palette of textures and colours, from traditional four horn writing such as Duke Ellington to more contemporary classical music such as Ravel with the use of strings and vibraphone. The ensemble features some of the most exciting musicians in London, both students and graduates playing professionally around the world. Elftet has been played on BBC radio 3 and WBGO (New Yorks main jazz radio station) as well as teamed up with two animators from Cornwall and Australia to make a music video.
More recently, Elftet have been performing around the U.K., played in a masterclass with Dave Holland and received the Tebbutt Exhibition award for an outstanding performance as well as recording their debut album and organising a 20 date album release tour.

Paying tribute to one of France's most flamboyant artists, Toulouse Lautrec is an intimate Brasserie & Wine Bar in Kennington, South London. Brimming with the bohemian charm of the Parisian jazz bars of a bygone era.
