Experience the magic of Christmas with an unforgettable evening of music by candlelight. Let the glow of flickering candles and the brilliance of timeless masterpieces fill your heart with festive joy. Opening with the virtuosic bravura of Corelli’s Christmas Concerto, followed by the sparkling Bach Violin Concerto in E major, the charm of Cimarosa’s Oboe Concerto, and the vibrant energy of Vivaldi’s Concerto for Strings. A truly uplifting celebration of the season. International violinist, Harriet Mackenzie, ‘flawless musicianship’ (Gramophone Magazine) ‘thrillingly stratospheric’ (BBC Music Magazine) and worldclass oboist James Beatty (who has played on films such as ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and ‘The Others’) join the elite musicians of Surround Sound for four sparkling baroque concerti.
All profits go to support the wonderful charity ‘Music in Action’ which provides music lessons for underprivileged children. This is more than a concert – it’s a heartwarming celebration of Christmas through music, community, and giving.
