Buddha Triangle, a Hastings-based folk-funk fusion band centered around lead vocalist and guitarist Sam Magerison and backed up by vocalist Mehdi Hamed, and very talented drummer George Macdonald, Buddha Triangle raise the roof each and every time they perform. Their music is all original material written by lead singer Sam Margerison and the band, ranging from reggae and jazz, funk to rock and rap. Their tunes are catchy and thought-provoking telling stories with humour and energy. The artist/audience relationship is what makes Buddha Triangle one of our favorite bands, their live performances are guaranteed to engage and entertain with plenty of ad-libbing improvisation and audience participation.
