Uprising Bulgarian singer presents her new album.
An evening full of energy and creativity! A new album presented by the acoustic ensemble. The NOVA BAND is excited to bring originals written by Ami Oprenova and Danielle Ciuffreda!
Ami trained originally as a classical violinist but soon found her passions lay in singing and in particular, singing jazz. As both a trained musician and a singer, Ami brings a highly lyrical, melodic and harmonic understanding to the way she sings jazz standards, and the ways she can interpret and improvise over the most beautiful songs. She is making a big name for herself around the world, and we’re lucky to have her take over once again the stage of Toulouse Lautrec. Ami has a gutsy, passionate voice that accents on highly inventive ‘swing to bop’ styles and she is one of the few vocalists who can scat with meaning and jazz understanding. Her original music is a mix of film, folk and fusion. With beautiful lyrics and a lovely sound you are in for a treat this evening!
