"A fun filled, tongue in cheek one woman comedy cabaret show"

Want a fun night out with plenty of belly laughs and fabulous music?
Come see Joanne Jollie belt out classic songs with a twist in her self-penned one woman show.
Think Sex and the City meets Victoria Wood with a bit of S&M thrown in!

Just as there are many colours of the rainbow, there are many shades of Jollie! Joanne hails from Hell, sorry, I mean Hull (City of Culture don't cha know!) where she dreamed of being a BIG entertainer! Joanne moved to the big smoke to pursue her dream, and found that the streets were in fact not paved with gold. En route to the West End she ended up at her wits end in the East End!

Come hear Jollie regale tales of dreams, reality and musicality through song and comedy, accompanied by the fabulous A Girl Called Fred on keys.

This is Joanne’s second self-penned show, a follow up to the sell-out ‘Around the World in 80 Men!’ which played to rave audiences in both London and Edinburgh as well as overseas.

Joanne is a known face on the London Cabaret circuit performing and hosting in such venues as Ronnie Scott’s, Proud Cabaret, Pizza on the Park and Café Royale. Expect belly laughs, sing a longs, and a pinch of poignancy and pathos.

“Joanne isn’t just Jollie, she’s simply the best” - Christopher Biggins

"She's got a pair of lungs on her...with a bit of a growl in her voice...She's a very vivacious presence, wants to make sure that the audience are having a laugh...She's a very engaging, friendly presence...She has a belting, powerful voice" - Ben Walters, Time Out

A Girl Called Fred” (AKA Birgitta Kenyon) trained about a million years ago as a Classical pianist/ vocal coach, and due to issues with a low boredom threshold has subsequently retrained as a jazz singer, actor, choral animator, lighting designer, tap dancer, and composer. Now firmly embedded in the Cabaret scene in London, where no one gives a monkey’s about your training, she has enjoyed performing as a writer-singer-pianist for crowds at the Pheasantry, Cafe De Paris, Crazy Coqs, and the Jermyn St Theatre...among others. Freddie is currently involved in the tour of “Cautionary Tales For Daughters” with performer Tanya Holt.
