Meal Ticket’s concept is very simple: 3 courses, 3 speakers, 1 big source of head and belly-filling inspiration.
Run by KK Outlet gallery for many years, Meal Ticket has always sought to pair up the best kitchens with the best artists.
For the Over The Wall edition, we are proud to welcome artists Jaap Scheeren, Luke Stephenson and Annie Collinge. Join us to hear about the method behind their making.
The meal will be catered by none other than Dinner Ladies! Bon appétit!
Ticket includes a 3-course meal and a complimentary welcome drink.

Jaap Scheeren lives and works in Amsterdam. In his own works as well as in commissioned work he tries to stay on the narrow path of reliability. He is focussed on the estrangement, pretty environment and its inhabitants.
Annie Collinge takes pictures that have a rawness about them, remaining unprocessed and off-key. Without using lighting or effects, her photographs provoke a feeling of otherworldliness, stirred by her delicately chosen subjects, often in costume against a suburban backdrop.
Luke Stephenson photographs what to many epitomises the eccentricity of Britain. Often humorous in their outlook, his series range from prize budgerigars to the World Beard and Moustache Championships. Whether animate or inanimate objects, Stephenson creates affectionate portraits of his subjects and documents worlds often hidden from the mainstream.
Over The Wall is the 2nd exhibition in our Vans’ Covent Garden residency, where some of KK Outlet’s favourite British and European artists have teamed up to create unique, collaborative artworks.
This eclectic soup of nationalities and experiences has accumulated in a show as diverse as the people involved. From a photographic exquisite corpse to digital renders mixed with custom typography each collaboration shows that when you reach over the wall, great things can happen.
KK Outlet is the acclaimed Shoreditch gallery and book store run by communications agency KesselsKramer. It's aim: showcase the most exciting emerging artists, designers and photographers operating outside the traditional gallery & commercial sphere.
KK Outlet hosted over 130 exhibitions, as well as workshops, talks, dinners and other special events. 32,750 beers were drunk during ten years of openings. Perhaps because of this, the Outlet grew to become a much loved East London institution. From October - January 2019, KK Outlet has taken up residency in VANS Covent Garden Boutique.

2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
