Indulgent Paired Dining Experience with Petersham Cellar

£125 per person 

 

Come and join Petersham Cellar for a fantastic evening of fine wines whilst indulging in delicious sharing plates from La Goccia.

 

Over three hours, Petersham Cellar will showcase six of their best wines this year, with a gorgeous champagne to start.

 

In a relaxed and informal environment, guests will be introduced to a range of Petersham Cellar’s high end portfolio – they are not holding back! The team will open some great back vintages and limited production wines along the way, finishing off with a top end Amarone.

Antipasti and Fritti: A selection of seasonal cicchetti

Served with Colli Di Lapio, Fiano di Avellno D.O.C.G 2018 from Campania

 

Main Courses:

Wood Fired and Grill Cornish Turbot wood fired on the bone

Served with Piedmont : Castello di Gabiano Chardonnay 2014 from Piedmonte

&

Smoked Haye Farm short rib with Creamed potatoes with Zisola olive oil

Gratin of Haye Farm Brassica’s with black truffle and ricotta di bufala

Served with Fonterutoli Philip 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon from Tuscany

 

Dessert

Dolci Pistachio and rose tart, fiore de latte gelato

Gorgonzola Dolce, honeyed figs

Served with  Vin Santo di Carmignano 2010 from Tuscany

 

Cheese Course

A selection of three top end Italian cheeses

Served with  Allegrini, Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2012 from Veneto

 

This will be a truly memorable wine dinner and with limited spaces available we recommend booking well in advance.

    The staff, venue, and overall experience was lovely. The event was marketed as a few hours long (I believe 9:30am-12:30pm) but we ended quite early. With this, I was expecting a bit more education or guidance on flowers than what was received. Overall, it was a nice morning but I was expecting just a bit more with the timing and cost.

    Really exceeded expectations! What a lovely night out, the 'chefs table' feeling and being part of a working kitchen was great, and the small group made it intimate and fun. The two chefs running our class were lovely, the food at the end was delicious, and the snacks & prosecco at the start was a nice touch. Hadn't expected a goodie bag either - it was so generous, the whole evening was such good value for money and I really recommend it.
