Liz runs Ma Baker, an award winning micro bakery in SW6.
Liz discovered her passion for bread after completing a class with Bread Angels in 2014 and since then she is usually found elbow deep in dough either baking or teaching the joys of real bread.
She has won over 12 national awards for her breads and her business, and we are equally delighted to have the opportunity of her teaching at The Avenue.
Making your own bread is rewarding, fun and delicious! This Bread Class will teach you all you need to know about bread making, including the complexities of working with yeast and the specifics of kneading.
Make ‘bread bricks’ a things of the past and learn how to make a lovable loaf as well as key knowledge on different flours, yeasts and techniques. Leave our Bread Class with the confidence you need to start making your own bread at home!
We will also demonstrate how to cook Diana’s very own recipe that requires no kneading. It is a quick loaf which tastes delicious – trust us it is dangerously moreish!
At the end of the Bread Class you will be able to take home your creations to enjoy with others or with a pat of butter or a bowl of soup 
.
You will also leave with your own recipe cards so you can re-create the delicious loaves!

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
