Enjoy an introduction to the wild and wonderful world of bees this July. Head to Ham Yard Hotel’s peaceful Roof Terrace and start the afternoon with a Beesou Spritz and have a look at our very own hives.
Join Honey Sommelier & Author Sarah Wyndham Lewis and her husband Dale Gibson, co-founders of sustainable beekeeping practice, Bermondsey Street Bees. You will explore an overview of the bees you can find in the UK and how to plant foliage to help them thrive.
Sarah will also talk about her new book, The Wild Bee Handbook: Offering practical advice on which plants you can grow, when and where.
There will be a tutored tasting where you will try six incredible honeys from Sarah’s global collection, appreciating their distinct flavours and learning more about honeybees. The event will conclude with a Q&A whilst tea and homemade cake is served.
