Description
City Point Plaza, nestled within the heart of the city, hosts screenings to celebrate the area. Sponsored by Brookfield Property Partners the plaza hosts a screen showing Queens Tennis in the day for free, along with the opportunity to purchase street food from the Brockley Market Team.
A musical update of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Telling the tale of a turf war between rival teenage gangs in Manhattan's Hell’s Kitchen, West Side Story won 10 Oscars following its release in 1961.
Filmed in Super Panavision 70, dazzlingly directed by Robert Wise, Jerome Robbins’ legendary choreography and Leonard Bernstein's superb score needs the biggest screen it can get, and when the movie’s firing on all cylinders of music, lyrics and motion, there’s no other cinematic musical to rival this masterpiece. Join us!
All tickets include a seat and Wi-Fi headphones that will be distributed at the screening Box Office. This will be shown on an LED screen as this film is part of a series of screenings in the plaza throughout the day and night.
