Burn After Reading (15)

Description
Following the release of their madcap Hollywood caper Hail Caesar!, we're delighted to be showing a similar Coen Brothers screwball comedy. Making up the second part of their "Numbskull Trilogy", a series of films starring George Clooney playing an idiotic character, Burn After Reading depicts the series of events that transpire after a low-level government agent loses a computer disc containing his memoirs. Cue murder, affairs, and double-crossing galore but in classic Coen style, managing to make even the most serious subjects hilarious. If you like your laughs dark, this one's perfect for you.

Marylebone Summer Fayre
The Marylebone Summer Fayre, organised and funded by the Howard de Walden Estate, has been growing in scope and scale every year, and now attracts more than 25,000 people. The area around the high street is closed off to traffic for the day and stalls selling food and crafts or promoting local institutions take over the streets, creating a bustling marketplace. Paddington Street Gardens hosts an impressive programme of live music, while dancers, fitness trainers and acoustic musicians perform at other locations around the site, often encouraging participation from the gathered revellers. The area’s status as a centre for great food and drink also comes to the foreground, with visitors able to indulge in a vast array of culinary offerings from all over the world.
For the second year, the Estate is adding The Nomad into the mix with a new exciting element to the Fayre, a special fundraiser screening of a Coen Brothers hit. With a Festival Bar and a selection of edible treats on sale, this evening event is shaping up to be a truly collaborative village affair which should not be missed. It is also a great opportunity to raise money for the Fayre’s charity, COSMIC (Children’s of St Mary’s Intensive Care).
