Whether you’re a whisky fanatic or whisky curious, our London Whisky Weekender tasting event is an absolute must-do for the good folks of London. Our famous festival format is fabulous. And because it’s our 10th birthday, we’ve got some exciting stuff lined up!
Sample over 100 whiskies
You’ll sample the best home-grown whiskies from Scotland and further afield. The London Whisky Weekender is the must-do whisky tasting event in London, attracting the finest distillers from as far afield as Australia and Taiwan.
Simply approach any of the exhibitor stands, ask politely for a dram and you shall receive a tasty glass of whisky (it really is that simple!) Every exhibitor should know their whisky inside out, so it’s well worth taking advantage of this knowledge. They’ll be able to answer any whisky-related questions you may have and will happily explain why their whisky is so damn tasty.
THE GIN LOUNGE
We've all got one, the mate who says 'nah, whisky's not for me'. Well this year, we're very excited to introduce our sister company, The Gin Lounge! If you - or any of your friends - are not into whisky then get down to The London Whisky Weekender and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of gin. Enjoy our Fentimans-sponsored cocktail bar, sample beautiful gins and rub shoulders with the makers and distillers of your favourite tipple.
Masterclasses and Workshops
As you’d expect, we’re running our famous blending workshops and cocktails masterclasses. But as 2018 is our 10th birthday, we’re working on some new ideas to broaden your minds, heighten the senses, and keep you coming back for more!
Takeaway Whisky from the Festival Shop
As in previous years we have our friends from The Whisky Exchange in the show to take care of all your purchasing needs and selling every whisky that you will find in the show.
The boring bit
Please, please ensure you buy tickets for the right session. We set strict limits on the number of tickets for each session so visitors can enjoy their whisky at their own pace. We are unable to swap tickets on the day. But, we’re mostly all human, so if you do buy the wrong session by accident, give us a call or email as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to sort out the muddle.
Your ticket will be emailed to you as we do not send out paper tickets. If you are purchasing tickets as a gift for somebody else and you would like PDF tickets emailed to you, please email info@thewhiskylounge.com, stating the name(s) of the recipient(s).
To book your place at a masterclass, you will need a separate ticket for each. We’ll add more details about the masterclasses before the event, so be sure to check back regularly.
The Whisky Lounge is committed to protecting the safety, health and well-being of its festival-goers, staff and exhibitors. We encourage all participants to drink responsibly. We maintain a challenge 25 policy.
Please note: ‘last pour’ is always 15 minutes prior to the session end time. This is non-negotiable.

The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
