Online Tasting: Jimmy's Lovely Loire

For this super online tasting West London Wine School founder Jimmy Smith has selected wines from classic areas as well as up-and-coming places. We'll taste world-class Chenin Blancs from Vouvray including Domaine Huet, Vincent Careme and Peter Hahn's Clos de la Meslerie; these have all been wines that have consistently featured on the boss's tastings in the past, as well as making up a fair chunk of his cellar. We'll also taste Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc from the wonderful Chateau Yvonne made by the very talented Mathieu Vallée. Jimmy also discovered some delightful wine from the Central Vineyards from the consistent Domaine Henri Pelle in Menetou-Salon. Another new discovery was the biodynamic estate in the Fiefs Vendéens called Domaine Saint-Nicolas crafting a wide range of superbly crafted wines from varieties such as Negrette, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc. 

Wines will range in age from two to ten years old, and are of the highest quality across white, red, rose and sweet. There will be several wines on the tasting, with a full presentation from Jimmy Smith. DO NOT MISS! 

Tasting Date: Monday 22 March 2021 at 7pm (the tasting will last approximately 2 hours).

TASTING FEE STRUCTURE:

For this special two-hour tasting, an exclusive tasting kit is included in the listed price which includes a 50ml tasting sample of each wine, as well as tasting mat, tasting note paper and pen. Note: Tasting kits will be despatched to attendees within the week leading up to the tasting. Approximately two weeks prior to the event, we will confirm postal addresses for all kit deliveries.

TASTING FORMAT:

West London Wine School founder Jimmy Smith will host this exclusive tasting live at 7pm on Monday 22 March 2021. This single-evening tasting will be approximately 2 hours in length. 

Unable to commit on the evening? No problem! Anyone registered for this tasting will gain access to the video recording of the live event, so you can always revisit any of these at anytime in the future - whether its because you missed participating in the live evening or if you want to revisit the presentation at a later date.
