On this exciting tasting series, spread out over three one-hour evenings (all Fridays 6-7pm), we will discover the wonderful delights of the world of sherry. Co-hosted by our resident Spanish fanatic, Quentin Sadler, and Beatriz Fernandez, buyer for Iberian Drinks UK who has expertly selected these delicious wines for the UK market. Beatriz will also be in-situ, in Andalucia visiting the wineries whilst showing us all the spectacular sites of vineyard through to winery through to glass. We’re going to whisk you away to southern Spain and have a few sherries in the meantime!
We will also supply a delicious list of easy-to-create tapas dishes so you can join in the gastronomical fun! This is the PERFECT way to start your Friday night!
COURSE DATES (Each of the 3 sessions begins at 6:00pm and will last approximately 1 hour):
- Friday 17th July 2020: “Callejuela – A Taste of Sanlucar”
- Friday 24th July 2020: "Primitivo Collante – The Delights of Fresh Fino"
- Friday 31st July 2020: "PX I Love you… and Amontillado!”
Unable to commit to each evening? No problem! Anyone registered for this course will gain access to the video recordings of each tasting session, so you can always revisit any of these at anytime in the future - whether its because you missed participating in the live evening or if you want to revisit the presentation at a later date.
Each evening, Quentin and Beatriz will also be tasting two sherries that are representative of the styles discussed during that evening's session. A case of each wine covered throughout the course (6 bottles) will be available to order for anyone registered to attend the course, so if you'd like, you can also purchase and enjoy the sherry with Quentin and Beatriz (or at a later date). The cost for this 6 bottle case (3 full bottles and 3 half bottles) is £115.
PLEASE NOTE: As this is a virtual tasting, only one seat needs to be booked per household UNLESS individuals will be logging into the tasting series with different computers/tablets.

2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
