We are delighted to announce of decadence and pure world-class as we welcome winemaker Brian Sieve from Domaine de Montille in Burgundy to West London Wine School online. On this rare and exciting occasion we will taste six wonderful wines ranging from £90 to £165 per bottle all hailing from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in Burgundy. This is a great opportunity to listen, taste and enjoy with Brian as he guides us through an exceptional line-up with highlights such as the 2011 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru and 2012 Pommard Les Rugiens 1er Cru (which for many people should be a Grand Cru...)
DOMAINE DE MONTILLE
Domaine de Montille is one of Burgundy’s greatest estates. The wines are made for ageing but in recent years, since Hubert’s son Etienne has taken over, the Domaine has moved towards expressing greater aromatic potential in the wines. The Domaine has moved progressively towards organic and now biodynamic methods working in closer harmony with nature. The wines still benefit from ageing and develop an abundance of complexity as they mature.
Tasting Date: Tuesday 25th May 2021 at 6:30pm (the tasting will last approximately 2 hours).
TASTING FEE STRUCTURE:
For this special two-hour tasting, an exclusive tasting kit is included in the listed price which includes a 75ml tasting sample of each wine, as well as tasting mat, tasting note paper and pen. Note: Tasting kits will be despatched to attendees within the week leading up to the tasting. Upon placing your order, you will receive a link to confirm all delivery details in your booking confirmation email. Currently, we are only able to deliver tasting kits within the UK.
DON'T WANT TO RECEIVE A TASTING KIT? We understand that not everyone will want to receive the wine samples, and would rather just register to participate in the online evening without the wines. That is absolutely fine! The fee to just register for this evening without receiving a tasting kit is £10. TASTING FORMAT:
Brian Sieve and Jimmy Smith will host this exclusive tasting live at 6:30pm on Tuesday 25th May 2021. This single-evening tasting will be approximately 2 hours in length.
Unable to commit on the evening? No problem! Anyone registered for this tasting will gain access to the video recording of the live event, so you can always revisit any of these at anytime in the future - whether its because you missed participating in the live evening or if you want to revisit the presentation at a later date.

9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
