Sardine restaurant, led by chef / owner and one time cheesemonger Alex Jackson (also a former Head Chef at Dock Kitchen & Rotorino) is opening up for a special brunch on Sunday August 27th.

As well as all the day’s newspapers, magazines and some journals borrowed from next door's art galleries, Sardine will offer up its own selection of foodie-based literature including the odd Elizabeth David cookbook for guests to enjoy over a special set brunch menu.

Brunch starts with a selection of toast, jams & preserves as well as fresh greek yoghurt, fruit & honey.  Unlimited French press coffee from Stevie Parle’s Craft London project - where it’s ground and roasted on site - will be passed down the tables and all guests will be urged to sink one of the house’s infamous Bloody Marie cocktails (made here with a dash of absinthe)

A choice of three mains is offered - Alex’s take on the French classic of cassoulet - served here with a poached egg, boudin noir, pork belly, Toulouse sausage and large chunks of confit duck or Scrambled eggs, served with fresh girolles and doused in summer truffle.

Another house favourite - Omelette Arnold Bennet - is a glorious mix of eggs, smoked haddock and Bechemal sauce.  Further Bloody Marie’s are available for just £5 a pop, coffee will be unlimited, music glorious and with any luck, the sun will shine through the windows.


Tickets can be purchased for just £25 + booking fee for groups of up to 6 persons; please note that due to the nature of the event some guests will be allocated to our sharing tables.

7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
