Adapted from Philip K. Dick’s novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, Ridley Scott’s iconic dystopian classic is unquestionably one of the greatest sci-fi films ever made.
In 1992, Ridley Scott released a popular Director's Cut that removed Deckard's narration, added a dream sequence and excised a happy ending imposed by the results of test screenings.Given complete artistic freedom to make The Final Cut in 2007, the 25th anniversary of the film’s release, director Ridley Scott created this final, definitive version, fully restored from the original negative.
A blend of science fiction and noir detective fiction, Blade Runner was a box office and critical bust upon its initial exhibition, but its unique postmodern production design became hugely influential within the sci-fi genre, and the film gained a significant cult following that increased its stature.
Perhaps more than any other film, Scott’s iconic sci-fi classic has gripped audiences and inspired passionate and fierce debate. Harrison Ford is exemplary as the world weary detective hunting down intelligent but murderous replicants amidst a neon-lit, rain-spattered future Los Angeles. Rutger Hauer, Sean Young and Daryl Hannah all give career-defining performances.
This screening will be in our very own beautiful Queens Park-the local park to the Nomad and the Lexi, our Cine Sister. There are no headphones at this event.

The Nomad Cinema is the roaming pop-up that gives back: since 2010, The Nomad has earned the reputation as ‘London’s best outdoor cinema’ [Evening Standard], popping up at an inspiring range of beautiful, unique and intriguing screening locations across London and beyond.

Both cinemas are partly run by dedicated volunteers and have developed partnerships with a diverse range of kindred cultural organisations, ethical companies and fairtrade suppliers.
Nomad film events embrace and enhance each venue, offering new ways of experiencing an uplifting range of films, from classics, cult and indie to mainstream guilty pleasures. With its low impact set up, The Nomad wanders into town, unpacks cinema magic, then disappears into the night, leaving no trace.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. 4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
