Looking to finally ditch the apps and start dating IRL again? Then come along to True Dating's Valentine's Speed Dating Event, at Vapiano. We’re partnering together to unite London singletons over their love of fresh pasta and beyond, designing the night to help you make the most of your evening. 

Let go of endless scrolling on Hinge, for once! 

You'll each get the chance to meet up to 15 dates, each lasting four minutes, plenty of time to see if there's a spark. Everyone will be there for the same reason: to have a fun night and hopefully meet someone they’d like to see again! If it’s your first time and you’re feeling a bit nervous we've got you, we will have our fantastic hosts on hand to help everyone feel welcome. 

You’ll get a welcome drink on arrival included in your ticket price, and for those true Vaps fans (or anyone wanting to see what the fuss is about!), you’re welcome to come down beforehand for 20% off your food. Just make sure you show your ticket to the team before you place your order, and get your meal cooking between 5-7pm to ensure there's plenty of time to eat pre-event. 

To give all our guests the best experience, we always work to ensure an equal male to female ratio at all our events, and for the purposes of the event, this is for those who are interested in heterosexual dating - and we hope to throw broader events at Vapiano in the future.

HOW IT WORKS

On the day of the event you will receive a reminder email confirming the event details and the creation of your True Dating account – it’s time to look fabulous and head to the event! Your True Dating Account will be created for you, this is very important as you will need to login to it the following day to enter your matches from the event. Aim to arrive within 15 minutes before the start time so you can meet as many True Daters as possible.

DURING THE EVENT

When you arrive at the venue, ask the staff for the True Dating party and you’ll be directed to our area where you'll meet our fantastic hosts. They will give you a name badge and explain how the night works. You will have up to 15 dates, each lasting 4 minutes. Usually there will be a 15-minute break halfway through. Don't forget to stick around afterwards as this will be your chance to potentially talk to your favourites from the night. 

AFTER THE EVENT

The following day you can log in to your True Dating account and enter your matches; "Yes", "Not My Type" or "Friend". If the stars align and you get a mutual match, you will be able to message each other via our secure messaging service (and start arranging date #2!).

The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.

    Omg…. That’s all I can say. I am still trying to snap out of what I saw. Very mis advertised. You arrive to a bar that is full of fairly drunk 20 year olds to then be showed to an area all the way at the back where there were maybe 4 men that were way above 45 years from the looks of it and maybe 5 or 6 women…. It was so bad. We went, saw, turned around and left to go to another bar and have a drink to pick up from the shock. I have never felt sad about being single and now I kind of do… we never checking in - I just wanted to run for my life!

    We think you must have been directed to the wrong event as we weren't at the back of the bar, we had an area reserved upstairs. There may have been another event going on which the venue directed you too by mistake but we would recommend actually checking in before you leave so you know you are even at the right event!

    So it was my first time going to one of these event and went with a friend. The host Alando was good and did help circulate the singles pretty well. It was a tiny event and speaking to others who participated most of us agreed that it would have been better with more people and space. I think the concept was good but it failed to deliver. Additionally, I think it was a bit naughty to charge £15 as it wasn’t really worth it, firstly it said *Hugely Popular Event* which consisted of less then 30 people (at most 7/8 of these were female that includes one group of 3 which attended) and secondly, it states that the event runs from 8pm until 11pm when we were actually kicked out of the area just after 10pm. The free drink was pretty cheapy and warm Prosecco but that was what I had expected in all fairness, plus we had arrived at just after half 8 so it was probably cold if we had turned up at 8pm as I’d imagine it was probably poured then. I’m my personal opinion after my first experience it would go to a bigger singles event for but I would avoid going to one set up by this company.
