Bottoms Up!
/ˈbɒtəmz ʌp/: "a term used to express friendly feelings towards one's companions before drinking."
Five-star lifestyle hotel Andaz London Liverpool Street is introducing its very own week long cocktail festival Bottoms Up!. From 1st to 7th April, the hotel is giving guests and locals alike the opportunity to sample a range of bespoke concoctions created by the talented barmen from Andaz London’s four restaurants and bars.
Each place is offering three special cocktails, including an alcoholic, low-alcoholic and non-alcoholic option. The alcoholic creations, each priced at £6.00, reflect the unique concept around each bar.
The cocktails…
Eastway Brasserie which offers all-day dining and weekend brunch, has curated a menu to celebrate Spring and warmer months ahead, featuring:
- Spicy Hazel: Pampero Special, Frangelico, Ancho Reyes Chilli Liquor, Sugar & Lemon Juice), brings all the holiday vibes. It is a fiery drink using an aged Venezuelan rum, Mexican liquor and Italian hazelnut flavours
- Gardener: Cucumber Infused White Wine, Martini Bianco, Sugar, Lemon Juice, Elderflower Cordial & Sparkling Water, aims to transport you to summer days in the garden. It is a sweet and citrusy option, inspired by Eastway’s signature Savvy B
- Jas-Mine Not Yours (non-alcoholic): Jasmine Homemade Syrup, Lemon Juice, Sugar & Soda Water, serves spring in a glass. It is a fragrant and floral beverage, using a base of syrup made with jasmine tea
Rake’s, a café by day and bar by night, is serving speciality cocktails, each unique, with no formality and no rules:
- Rake’s Coast: Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey, Coast 2 Coast IPA, Chartreuse, Lemon & Honey-Pepper Mix, a well-rounded drink which encapsulates the world’s different alcoholic delicacies – from rough and rural American bourbon to mysterious French monks, and Indian influencers, this unique cocktail is sure to give you a deep kick
- King Alberto: Havanna Rum 7y, Kings Ginger, Lemongrass Ginger Tea, Chocolate Mole Bitters, Lime & Sugar, a slightly sweet, spicy and chocolatey concoction designed after King Alberton of Sicily – known as a rake himself

- Umesshu: Umeshu & Soda, focusing on highlighting the renowned Japanese liquor
- Calcha (non-alcoholic): Matcha, Calpis & Milk, is made using traditional and popular Japanese ingredients, like the popular matcha and less known cultured milk drink, Calpi
