The sell-out monthly brown night aimed at supporting Asian and other minority ethnic groups to develop their comedic identity and to steer away from low hanging fruit. A generous collection of comedians centred around this concept pulls a unique twist to East London's comedy scene, in an intimate venue to create a night not to be missed! Previous acts include - Get ready for some shameless name dropping - Shazia Mirza, Fatiha El-Ghorri, Victoria Olsina and many more.

Designed to make a distinctive and exciting experience for everyone in an open-minded, inclusive environment, think of us as a "spiced up" comedy show.

Eat, drink and laugh in a cosy, low-lit bar with not one, not two, not three - Can you see where we're going with this?-but SEVEN ACTS alongside a headline performance. This venue has a full bar serving a selection of draught beer and cider, alongside a full range of spirits and cocktails however we also serve a full Mocktail Menu, and have a wide range of halal food options available.

MC: Saleha Masud

Line up: Chentel Nash, Blank Peng, Bas Rahman, Elliot Brown, Luke Zheng!

Headliner: Hasan Al-Habib

DOORS OPEN 7PM

How do the time slots work?
As we are a small venue, we have two forms of tickets to stagger arrival times for our guests to prevent a large rush of people before our shows begin. If you have selected the early arrival time of 7-7:30pm, which is a discounted ticket of £4, and arrive after 7:30pm, you will be charged a £3 surplus to match your entry fee to that of the standard ticket price of £7. Please note there are no exceptions to this rule.

Keep your eyes peeled as line ups will be announced on Instagram for each date! @superbrowncomedy & @londonhospitaltaver

Ria Lena's set was excellent, half new and half familiar material with a twist. No song, perhaps do one on subjects that would not date, like the proliferation of doorbell cams / surveillance ? No material on the locality, which has a varied history to explore. Her presentation was spot on with drive and good timing. It was good to see her live, looking trim. The venue needed better toilets for the number of customers. on the night.
