Following the success of Nice N' Spiky Comedy summer specials at Stanley Halls we're back with a big Friday night show full of laughter. Reserve your seats now for an evening of the best stand up comedy, and the only comedy night in Norwood!

Seating will be in your bubbles across the large main hall at Stanley Halls, with social distancing in place. Tickets are limited to allow for Social Distancing. Please wear a mask as you move around the venue, unless you have an exemption. While seated you do not need to wear your mask.

Kae Kurd

Smart, sharp and brilliantly astute, Kae Kurd is a young British-Kurdish stand up making a serious name for himself. He is recognised as one of the UK’s fastest rising comedy stars, creating and curating content across a range of platforms. His debut stand up special Kurd Your Enthusiasm was another huge success receiving over 100K views when released on YouTube, with joe.co.uk’s Creative Director noting “It’s intriguing – and exciting – that a performer with such a slick mainstream swagger is able to weave so many socio-political issues into his act.”

TV credits include Live at the Apollo (BBC Two), Jonathan Ross Comedy Club (ITV), Don’t Hate the Playaz (ITV2),The Tez O’clock Show (Channel 4) Know Your Rights (own series on Channel 4 OD), Comedians Solve World Problems (Comedy Central), Three Guys Eat (BBC Three) and BBC Asian Network’s Big Comedy Night.

Kae is also a hugely in demand writer. Most recent projects Charlie Brooker’s Cunk & Other Humans (BBC Two), Anti-Viral Wipe (BBC Two), Redknapp’s Home Fixture (Sky One) and League of Their Own(Sky One). His brand new tour The Spoken Kurd is set to launch in 2021, with numerous shows selling out in record time.

Hatty created and co-wrote Comedy Central Sitcom Give out Girls with Tony Mac Murray (The Office/Last Chancers) for Big Talk & Popper Pictures - it aired on Comedy Central And Now TV . Hatty subverts the normal stale concept of stand up and presents the audience with a comedy experience that makes them not only laugh, but feel comfortable in any live environment. A unique brand of comedy that is warm, inclusive, and unpretentious . Hatty hit the London circuit around 2009 playing various London clubs. She has performed alongside the likes of Josie Long, Stewart Lee, Isy Suttie, Robin Ince and Bridget Christie. Hatty comperes and hosts various London clubs including her own successful club for parents and babies Screaming With Laughter. ‘It was the most creative and effective way I have seen of producing a warming and friendly atmosphere’ Three Weeks. Hatty is a radio regular,  currently presenting on Soho Radio with the Funny Mummies Radio Show and Podcast.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.

7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
