Mother's Comedy Ball is a new monthly comedy night bringing you the funniest and most diverse of London's up and coming comedians.
We are passionate to bring you the best of all London's rising stars, including the talents of women, LGBTQIA, BAME,, people with disabilities and neurodiverse communities.
This month’s line up includes:
BEX TURNER: Bex is a high energy, eccentric stand-up comedian who adds a surreal edge to the topics that she explores. She also regularly does celebrity impressions in her sets, the top one being Su Pollard from Hi-De-Hi and most recently Joe Lycett (including being quote-tweeted by him)! As an audience you’re never quite sure what will happen next and that’s all part of the thrill - be ready to be taken on a surreal adventure in my stand-up! Themes focus around pop culture, food and being awkward. ‘Charming and hilarious love child of Tommy Cooper, Eddie Izzard and Victoria Wood’ Sajeela Kershi (comedian and host of Comedy Cottage and The Immigrant Diaries).
ILAYDA ARDEN: Ilayda Arden is an ex theatre-maker turned comedian with a keen eye for neurotic observations, flair for story-telling, and knack for characterisation. In 2020 Ilayda was nominated for the Funny Women Awards in both Stage and Short Film categories, and is making a mark on the comedy circuit, one sticky pub basement at a time.
TIZIANO LA BELLA: Tiziano La Bella was born in 1992 in Rome, Italy. His first stand up comedy set was in Istanbul, Turkey, where he used to live at the age of 23.
He then moved back to Italy and started performing around the whole country. In 2018 he moved to London and since then, he opened two Judah Friedlander’s shows, one Maz Jobrani’s show and he recorded a tv set for Comedy Central and Amazon Prime Video. In 2019 he also joined the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his show “Yes We Can’t”.
At the moment Tiziano works with BeComedy UK in London, a company that hosts shows all over the world.
NATALIE DURKIN: Always looking to be the centre of attention comedy gives Natalie an excuse to talk about her disastrous love life without it being with a family member asking if she's pregnant. Plus... where else can you bring up dragon porn innocently mid conversation....no seriously??

MARY O'CONNELL: Mary is a comedian and writer. She was a runner up in the live 2020 Funny Women Awards Final and can most recently be seen on BBC Presents: Stand Up for Live Comedy. Mary has also just taken up a residency at Steve Coogan’s Baby Cow Productions. Mary describes herself as "a North London socialite whose stage presence is dangerously aloof." Her comedy offers a left field view of life, making for "hilarious and absurd material." Mary was also longlisted in the Thousand Films Female Writing Competition.

GEORGIE MORRELL: Georgie is. stand up, writer and presenter. She has performed three solo shows, at Edinburgh fringe and her debut show A Poke In The Eye went on UK tour and transferred to Soho Theatre

MEERA CADE: Funny Women Award Semi-Finalist 2021,
Meera (they/them) is a queer performance artist and comedian, single mum and retired porn star. Meera use hilarious wit and insight to share stories from her past adventures in the sex industry, and her present life as a single mum and stand-up comedian. Candid and cleverly political Meera leaves you on the edge of your seats laughing your head off.
