Mother's Comedy Ball is a new monthly comedy night bringing you the funniest and most diverse of London's up and coming comedians.
We are passionate to bring you the best of all London's rising stars, including the talents of women, LGBTQIA, POC, people with disabilities and neurodiverse communities.
This month’s line up includes:

FAYE TREACY: As heard on BBC Radio 4 and Scala Radio, As seen on BBC Quickies, Best New-Comer Musical Comedy Awards “Simultaneously childish, genius and inescapably memorable” — ★★★★ (AND A HALF) – SHORTCOM

LAURA MCMAHON: Edinburgh TV Festival New Talent Award winner, Soho Theatre alum, finalist Funny Women Film Award,BAFTA Crew, BBC Three, Gold Medal at London Worldwide Comedy Festival, The Stand-Up Club’s New Act of the Year finalist, WD Comedy Festival New Act of the Year finalist, Best Female Director UK WebFest.

GLENN BRALEY: 2019 Teddy Rocks comedy contest winner Glenn Braley is a man with a sense of humour like a solar eclipse - it'll might you a while to understand what's happening but then things get dark very quickly.

JULES O'BRIEN: Jules O'Brian has been hailed as the next big thing in comedy, but that was mostly due to lockdown binge eating. This former teacher’s relaxed, chatty style, crowd interaction and warmth, all served with a sardonic wit, make her a natural crowd pleaser.

PUSSY KAT BANGKOK: Kat Kasisopa AKA Pussy Kat Bangkok, the only Thai in the UK, is an exotic , extravagant interactive cabaret comedian. She entertained the nation as Cookie Love on Channel 4’s Big Brother UK.

PREET SINGH: First hitting the London circuit in March 2018 he has quickly established himself as a reputable new act. Early achievements include beating multiple, ruthless Gong shows e.g. The Blackout (UptheCreek) and The Honk Show (Moth Club).

DARK SUGAR: Dark Sugar the drag queen comedian is an irreverent, sexualised and silly sausage. Former host of The Cabaret Club (Kent) and now appearing monthly at Groovie Grove Comedy as MC, this queen is sure to dig the dirt and serve the sauce for your comedic delight.

And your MC for the night is Funny Women Award Semi-Finalist 2021, queer performance artist and comedian, retired porn star and single mum MEERA CADE.
