Award-winning writer /actor
DAN CLARK
Dan Clark is probably best known for playing the lovable loser Don Danbury on BBC3’s cult hit comedy How Not to Live Your Life, which he also created and wrote. The show was a big success gathering over 1.3 million viewers by the third season. It finished in 2011 with an hour long Christmas Special.
Since then Dan has toured the UK with his critically acclaimed stand-up comedy shows and played countries around the world. In 2012 and 2013 he released a stand-up album and comedy music album respectively.
As an actor Dan has appeared in various TV shows and films but in recent years has turned his attention to writing and directing. Having directed three pilots for television which have all gone to series and two short films, he is now working on two feature film scripts which he is planning to direct by the end of the year.
Dan’s passion for film and television has manifested itself into a popular podcast Screen Talk with Dan Clark: a show where he interviews people from all walks of the industry. It’s regularly in the iTunes Top 5 ‘Film & TV’ podcast charts.
