A hilarious night of improv featuring highly acclaimed solo show Jinni Lyons Is An Only Child, plus Nottingham-based duo The Clones and brand new Nursery Original production The Fauna Of Penny Forest!
“An exemplary improviser…I have never seen anyone like her” – Mike McShane, Whose Line is it Anyway?
“Astonishing and hilarious” – Hideout Theatre, Austin, Texas
Jinni Lyons presents comical, lyrical, improvised theatre from an Only Child. Come and watch her people the stage with myriad companions in a series of vignettes charting each character’s quirks and peccadilloes, dilemmas and dreams.
PLUS…
The Clones are a Nottingham-based slow-burn twoprov with no fixed structure inspired by legendary improv double acts like Dummy, John & Scott, and TJ and Dave. Often taking the form of a monoscene or a series of a few long scenes, they take the time to really explore the characters and the relationships between them with hilarious and touching results. The Clones have been performing together for 2 years and have performed the show across the UK including the Edinburgh Fringe, Newcastle, Leicester Comedy Festival, and of course their hometown of Nottingham.
“Very real… very dramatic, believable and funny to boot.” – Breaking a Leg
AND
Some kind of catastrophe has befallen the Fauna of Penny Forest. Will they rise up and overcome it, flee to pastures new, or die horribly? (You never know.) Come along and uncover/decide their fate in this colourful (mostly green) tale of triumph and trepidation, with an eclectic cast of slimy, scaly, feathered and furry friends, all chosen by you the audience!
