JOSH WELLER
As seen in the new season of ITV2’s Stand Up Sketch Show, Josh Weller is a comedian, comic book author, musician, and podcast host.
He was born in England, raised in Malaysia and now lives in London. Weller’s high energy brand of cleverly self-deprecating stand-up landed him on pro bills after just one year on the UK and London comedy club circuit.
In addition to his live comedy work, Josh has developed a loyal fanbase for his online content, which includes sketches, live pub quizzes, professional trolling, animated stand-up comedy shorts, character work, and more.
In 2020, he was included in Twitter’s Valentine’s Campaign, featured on billboards across the US and UK. Josh is also a successful broadcaster and presenter, having hosted and produced the popular Excitable Boy podcast (#6 on the iTunes Comedy chart, #13 on the worldwide iTunes chart), as well as the official Hard Rock Café podcast and the Vans Warped Tour podcast.
He’s currently the host of the Hard Rock Cafe’s social video content, including Learn Guitar with Josh Weller. Josh is already well-known for his successful music career.
Having signed with Universal Records as a teenager, he went on to tour the world as both a solo artist and the lead singer of popular punk act The Kenneths. He has performed on the Vans Warped Tour alongside The Offspring, The Descendents and Juliette Lewis, has drummed for Ray Davies at the Royal Variety Performance, released a Christmas single with Paloma Faith and has toured with Mumford & Sons, The Maccabees, and more.
He has recently channeled that energy into viral music-comedy videos and releasing comedic songs under the name Jizzy Pop.
Josh appeared in an episode of BBC’s Life Lessons with Alfie Brown and his darkly comic graphic novel, Die Already, was published by CollegeHumor.
He’s recently written for BBC Radio 4’s The Now and Alex Edelman’s Peer Group.
JOSH BAULF
Named fantastically funny on Britain's Got Talent.
Within a few months of performing, British comedian Josh Baulf won the infamous King Gong at The Comedy Store, was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award and reached the finals of the Amused Moose New Comedy Awards.
He went on to win the Get-Up Stand Up competition and was runner up of the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year award.
Josh has performed at the London Palladium and has established himself as a fast-rising star on the UK comedy circuit.
HATTY PRESTON
Hatty Preston is a comic from London who is now fairly confusingly (to both her and her family) based in Chicago. She has performed at London comedy venues such as The ComedyTavern and The Poodle Club, and was the 2018 winner of Court Jester Comedy's 'Breakin' Thru' Stand-Up competition in London. She is a regular on shows across Chicago - Comedy Bar, Second City, Laugh Factory and Zanies. This year she has opened for Jourdain Fisher at The Oak City Comedy Festival (Raleigh, North Carolina), been a feature act at The Comedy Bar, Nashville (Tennessee) and performed at The Virgil in Los Angeles. Over the last 12 months she has been featured at comedy festivals in: Cleveland, OH; Iowa City, IA; Milwaukee, WI; Raleigh, NC.
Last year she headlined at The 3rd Annual International Lady Laughs Festival in Madison, WI, with her set filmed for upcoming Glowstix Studios feature 'I Heart Funny Women'.
As an actress, Hatty is best known for playing Princess Maribel in Lionsgate's 'The Royals' and has also guest-starred in BBC's 'Cuckoo' and 'Jack Whitehall Live'. On London's West End, she originated the role of Minty in Jennifer Saunders' 'Viva Forever!'.
MAMOUN ELEGAB
Mamoun is a fresh, young and original voice on the comedy circuit, and in a short amount has gone from strength to strength. He has won and reached the final of numerous comedy competitions including the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2018. He has built on this momentum and is now preparing for the 2019 Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
