A riotous, improvised Enid Blyton parody for grown-ups, chock full of innuendo and lashings of puns. 


The cast creates a brand-new Blyton inspired adventure on the hoof, inspired by audience suggestions and the spiffing yarns of Aunty Enid herself. Performed in vintage costume with music and songs, the show offers a hilarious tongue-in-cheek homage. Return to a time when you could get a delicious tongue sandwich or wrap your lips around a nice spotted dick…


Featuring a picnic basket of seasoned comedians from stage and screen, this is quality comedy theatre that’ll grab you by the jolly hockey sticks and leave your sides aching!


A festival of entertainment spanning the worlds of musical theatre, comedy, drag, cabaret and more, 'Christmas at the Phoenix Garden’ will take place during December 2018, with events taking place in the beautiful Phoenix Garden Building. A multi-purpose, newly built space featuring just sixty seats, underfloor heating, mood lighting and more. 


Terms & Conditions:


Doors to this performance will open at 4.30pm, the show will start at 5pm with a running time of 2 hours including an interval. A bar will be available for drinks purchases. Drinks and food sourced from outside the venue must not be brought into the venue. The event will take place indoors. No drinks are to be brought into the Garden itself. The Phoenix Garden boasts hundreds of tropical plants and wildlife, so there will be limited access to the Garden - but rest assured, you'll be able to take a pic for social media - no filter needed. The venue will close 15mins after the show finishes, but guests are welcome to enjoy the rest of their evening at our sister venue, the Phoenix Arts Club, just a short walk away.


A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the Phoenix Garden to allow it to continue running as a much needed green space.

7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.

12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.

    Such a talented cast. Especially Zoe Dunn who was hilarious in everything but particularly her cat! It’s such a good night out , you should definitely get a ticket right away!

    Amazing show. Lou was excellent and the cast did a great job. I recommend this to anyone who hasn’t seen improv comedy before. You will laugh!!!
