Kicking the Summer Bank Holiday off, Slipped Disco throws a London launch party for Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music (3-5 September). The night will see long term DJ sparring partners Chris Coco and Ben Osborne, both of whom play the festival, behind the famed Disco Pub decks.
With an emphasis on party music for an eclectic crowd, expect anything from disco to post punk, jazz, street soul, techno, hip hop, reggae, electro, funk, breaks, house, Afro, Asian, Italo…
Chris Coco, a prolific recording artists and leading figure on the Balearic scene, is one of the select DJs who’s played every super club in Ibiza - including ones that have long since closed. He’s played every continent apart from Antartica and is a fixture on the Ibiza and UK eclectic, dance and chill out scenes; playing everything from massive stadiums and hideaway, scene bars.
Ben Osborne’s described as a “polymath” by Time Out (London). He is the founder of music and art project Noise of Art and has pioneered activities such as late night music events in galleries in London and immersive film and music events. He plays clubs and festivals across Europe, has written books on electronic music and the Arctic Monkeys, and his cross platform artworks have featured on TV.
Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music takes place on 3-5 September. Ben and Chris will be joined by Martyn Ware (founder Human League and Heaven 17), launching his new autobiography, Hacienda icon Justin Robertson, Richard Norris, Niel Thornton, Auntie L, Jupiter Ray, Latin heat, Peter Hepworth and more, plus spoken word, arts, kids zone and the festival’s environmental area

If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
