Watercolour Workshop | Summer Fruits Still Life
Painting & Gold Leaf
Celebrate the richness of late summer with a painterly twist in
this unique still life workshop. Inspired by the lush abundance of
Dutch Golden Age paintings, we’ll be creating small, dramatic fruit
compositions brought to life with watercolours and shimmering gold
leaf.
You’ll learn how to paint mini still lifes featuring ripe fruits and rich colour palettes, using expressive brushwork and layering techniques. Then, we’ll elevate your work by adding gold leaf accents for a baroque-inspired finish - think peaches with a gilded glow, or plums with a touch of sparkle.
Eva will guide you through watercolour techniques, composition tips, and the basics of applying gold leaf - all in a relaxed and supportive setting.
All materials are provided, including the gold leaf; just bring your beautiful self!
New to painting?
This workshop is perfect for beginners. Eva will walk you through
each step, helping you feel confident and creative. By the end,
you’ll have a vibrant, gilded artwork that’s totally
frame-worthy.

Where is the workshop located?
The workshop will be held on the first floor of the shop at 103
Clarence Street, Kingston, London, KT1 1QY.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, the
workshop space is located on the first floor of the shop and is not
wheelchair accessible as there is no lift. We deeply regret any
inconvenience this may cause. Please feel free to reach out to us
directly if you have accessibility concerns.
Is there a refund policy?
Refunds are available up to
7 days before the event. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued if
there is less than 7 days notice. If you can’t attend, you may
transfer your ticket to someone else by letting us know in
advance.
Is the workshop suitable for children?
The workshop is designed for adults, but older children (aged 14+)
are welcome if accompanied by an adult. It's actually a great
family activity that helps create memories together along with
learning a new skill.
Do I need to bring any art materials?
All materials for this class are provided. However, you can
purchase anything extra from the shop on the ground floor. There is
a big collection of art materials in very competitive prices.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to build confidence with the brush, you’ll explore colour, composition, and expressive techniques in a relaxed setting, with expert guidance and space to make something beautiful. Bring a coffee, your curiosity, and let your inner artist breathe. All materials are provided—just show up and paint. A gorgeous way to start the week, whether you come solo or with a friend!
T&Cs
1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
7. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
