The key to a good taco is a good salsa!
With the experienced chef Claudia of Piastro Mexican Kitchen learn how to make four classic Mexican salsas that you can use as dips with tortilla chips, with tacos, eggs and on top of anything!
- Salsa Pico de Gallo: the classic
- Salsa Tatemada: rich red salsa using dried chiles
- Tomatillo and Avocado Salsa: the perfect accompaniment for tacos!
- Salsa Molcajeteada: learn how to use a traditional Mexican molcajete (like a mexican mortar and pestle), you will see how the flavour of your salsa changes with this technique!
ALSO learn how to make your own tortillas! The ultimate way to impress your friends with your authentic Mexican cooking!
Cost is £35 per person and includes all ingredients, as much salsa and tortillas as you can eat, and a welcome mezcalito!
Mezcal, beer, wine and non alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase at the bar.

ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Claudia Prieto Piastro is a Food Anthropologist and has worked for the last 4 years as a food consultant in London. She has also organised and cooked for supper clubs and curated gastronomical events in London.
She has aPhD in Anthropology focusing in food and identity by KCL and cooking training at Escuela de Gastronomia Mexicana in Mexico City.

3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
