Learning Spanish is best achieved in fun, practical ways! In this taster class we will make a classic Spanish Easter dessert called torrijas. 聽Torrijas are a famous dessert with a long history. Crunchy on the outside and fluffy and cinnamon-ey on the inside these are a real treat! In this Easter special cooking and learn Spanish event you will have the chance to learn beginner Spanish while you cook and taste torrijas. Delicious!
The event is suitable for complete beginners and all with up to 6 months of learning.

FAQs
Do I need to speak Spanish before the event?
No, no prior knowledge is needed. This event is designed 聽for complete beginners and all beginners with up to 6 months of learning.
Do I need to prepare anything before I attend?
You will have more fun if you prepare. You have the option to familiarise yourself with the vocabulary list provided by email once you book. You will gain access to use our app course to learn the words and say hi to attendees in our event chat group聽set up before the event.
What is the transfer and refund policy?
If Stripey Spanish reschedules the event you will be offered a refund or a reschedule option.
If you are unable to attend and provide 48 hours notice you can receive a transfer or refund less any third party fees.
If you are unable to attend within 48 hours you may request to receive a transfer of your ticket to another date.

What if I am an early intermediate level speaker?聽
You can still gain from the experience if you have an early intermediate level (B1). We will give you a chance to practise more conversation skills and speak with others with a higher level. Simply indicate this in reply to the welcome email you receive.
What if I am an upper intermediate or advanced level speaker?聽
This is not designed to provide opportunity for the practise of progression of those at an upper intermediate or advanced level (B2 or C1, C2) so it probably isn鈥檛 ideal for you. You are welcome to attend if you are happy to speak slowly and support those with a lower level of Spanish. You will primarily enjoy the experience itself and the Spanish speaking atmosphere.

Getting there
1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. 3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
