Dr. Kathrine Bejanyan holds a PhD in Social Psychology. Her PhD research concentrated on romantic relationships cross-culturally. She also has a Master's in Counselling Psychology and is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy with a license as a Marriage Family Therapist from the United States.
Outside of her private practice she does consulting work for a high-end dating agency. She runs assessments for initial clients as well as help existing clients gain a better understanding of themselves, their potential partner and form true intimacy within their romantic relationships.
Kurious Bookklub: Sex, Fidelity and the Evolution of Desire
While infidelity may be more common than we think, public opinions still remain very negative with large numbers of people strongly condemning the act. When it comes to this disapproval, women, more often than men, get the harshest and loudest critics. Certainly throughout history women have been shamed, exiled, beaten and even killed for stepping outside of their marital bed (and this still occurs in some parts of the world).
In this talk we will discuss women’s sexuality, cheating behaviour and the nature of male and female differences when it comes to monogamy. Is it in human nature for women to be more loyal or is it social conditioning that pressured women to maintain sexual fidelity and restrained them from exploring their sexuality? We will have an open discussion about these topics during this talk.

It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
