These days Japan has proven itself to be more than a match for Scotland in the quality of its malts. The Canonbury Tavern invites guests to an informal and interactive tasting masterclass of our premium Japanese whiskies.
Join us for a fantastic evening with Zoran, Hibiki's brand ambassador, who will take you on a journey to Japan, explaining how it has become one of the most sought after whiskies in the world. He will discuss the whisky category and the varying regional taste profiles and how each of these fed into the creation of Hibiki. Along with a demonstration you will learn how Japanese Suntory ice calving is centric to the culture of Hibiki and Japanese whisky, you may even get to join in!
Demonstrating an excellent variety of liquids, Zoran will ensure guests leave with a deeper knowledge of, and greater intrigue for, the world of Japanese whisky.
7pm-9pm - Includes: Interactive ice carving workshop + tasting of 3 Japanese Whiskies
