"Get confident & creative!
Whose Line Is It? It could be YOURS on this improvisation weekend for beginners!"
SPECIAL DESIGN MY NIGHT PRICE £49 (Normally £100)
A weekend improvisation workshop! All day Saturday & Sunday from 10.30am to 5.30pm
No experience required. Ideal for complete beginners!!
The actors on "Whose Line Is It Anyway" always look impressive but those skills can be developed through practice by anyone.
There’ll be lots of games, key skills exercises and fun on this immersive two day workshop. Improvisation is based on a deceptively simple set of rules that you'll get lots of time to explore & practice. (The session will be 99% practical). Come along and find out how enjoyable an improvisation workshop is and how (if you want it to) it can even make a positive impact on your life at home, at work, and in your relationships.
Would you like to ...
- Learn to be more creative and spontaneous
- Improve your communication skills
- Increase your confidence
- Learn to think on your feet
- Learn to be more "in the moment"
Then an improvisation weekend is just the thing.
BTW Do you have to be funny? A lot of people say “I couldn’t do an improv class – I am not very funny”. Improvisation is not stand-up comedy. You don’t have to come up with a constant stream of one-liners – in fact quite often they get in the way. Improvisation does tend to produce humorous games and scenes – but there is room for every sort of creativity in an impro class. Storytelling... Characters... and yes occasionally one-liners too. You do NOT need to be funny to do an improv weekend - but you will have fun!
