Missy Fatale is a world-renowned, international burlesque performer, and swing dance Instructor, specializing in classic burlesque, fire-eating, snake-charming, and 1920’s Charleston. Missy travels the globe performing, and has dedicated four weekends to our beloved London town, in order to teach this long-awaited, and much requested course! Places are limited, and all studios are mirrored professional dance studios. The ‘Graduation Show’ (which is optional, and included in the price) will be confirmed following completion of the course, and will be at a London Cabaret venue, such as Proud Cabaret or Madame Jojo’s. Past students of the course have gone on to become award-winning burlesque artistes (Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas / World Burlesque Games in London) and some have gone back to their normal lives, with a hint of vixen in their eyes, and a new sense of confidence in their bodies, and in themselves.

Track 1
The Vintage Showgirl course

4-week course, four 2-hour sessions over four weeks + performance (optional)
Course Description:
Embrace the diamonds, the feathers, and the high-waisted sequin knickers, and reveal your inner vintage starlet! The wild-abandon of the 1920’s, the era of Josephine Baker, Louise Brooks, prohibition and the advent of the ‘IT’ girl - If you’ve always wanted to be a Busby Berkeley showgirl, then this is what you’ve been waiting for!
We will cover 1930's showgirl jazz dance, chorus-line, 1920’s Charleston, troupe & solo performance, expression & characterisation, costuming, and entertaining your adoring crowd.

Track 2: The Burlesque Siren course
Sundays 2-4pm
4-week course, four 2-hour sessions over four weeks + performance (optional)
Course Description:
Dita Von Teese, the glamour of Marilyn Monroe, and more feathers and diamonds than you can shake a stick at! This course is dedicated to celebrating women, our bodies (all ages, shapes and sizes!) and our sexuality - which is something to be proud of! Whether you want to become a fully-fledged burlesque performer, increase your dancing repertoire, or simply learn how to feel fabulous and improve your confidence, this is the course for you.
We will cover 1950's bump n' grind, slow sensual exotica, basic body movement, costuming, history & icons, neo-burlesque (and boylesque if required!) the art of the tease, and of course how to perform burlesque on a stage.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
