His name is President Obonjo. He was born in Liverpool to Nigerian parents. His Dad is from Akure and his Mum is from Warri. President Obonjo arrived in Nigeria in the early 70’s and left for the UK in 1985. President Obonjo has become a successful comedian because of his innovative use of the internet to engage with Lafta addicts online. Last year she opened for Mike E Winfield, ahead of his Amazon Special release, at Zanies, Rosemont; Eddie Ifft at Zanies Chicago: Jourdain Fisher at The Oak City Comedy Festival (Raleigh, North Carolina) and Hunter Hill (Greenhouse Theater, Chicago, IL), and been a feature act at The Comedy Bar, Nashville (Tennessee) and The Virgil in Los Angeles. This past year she has been featured at comedy festivals in: Cleveland, Ohio; Iowa City, IA; Milwaukee, WI; Raleigh, NC.Hatty headlined at The 2018 3rd Annual International Lady Laughs Festival in Madison, WI, with her set filmed for upcoming Glowstix Studios feature 'I Heart Funny Women'.As an actress, Hatty is best known for playing Princess Maribel in Lionsgate's 'The Royals' and has also guest-starred in BBC's 'Cuckoo' and 'Jack Whitehall Live'. On London's West End, she originated the role of Minty in Jennifer Saunders' 'Viva Forever!'.
