Create a beautiful set of two solid timber coasters. A great opportunity to learn the basics of woodworking.
What is this class all about?
Our resident furniture designer will lead you through a class that will develop your skills and knowledge and provide you with a beautiful set of coasters to take home with you.
- Have fun and learn a new skill.
- Over 2 hours you will draw your coaster designs for a set of two coasters. You will then learn how to mark and cut your wood properly using traditional tools. You'll have the opportunity to then experiment with different decorative techniques such as pyrography (wood burning), waxes, stains, veneers and design concepts.
- Fresh juice - receive one freshly pressed juice during the class.
Why book this class?
You'll learn a brand new skill and open yourself up to other creative projects. This is a lovely class to do on your own or with a friend. Plus, you can feel good about booking: all profits go to providing charity arts classes to some of London’s most disadvantaged groups.
We're located in Workshop London in the heart of Camden. Enjoy our class and make a day of the local creative area.
At HAUSOF we partner with local charities so that we can provide vulnerable people with arts classes that help them stay on the right track. Whether that's dealing with addiction, staying off the street, finding safety from violence or healing mental illness, we use what we know about the healing nature of art to help people feel empowered. If you're passionate about helping with HAUSOF, please get in touch!
